The iconic Campell's building
The Campbell’s headquarters and production site, at King’s Lynn, was built in the 1940s and has remained an icon of the local area ever since. A takeover by Premier Foods in 2006 resulted in its closure a year later after production was moved to another facility.
The building’s neighbour Tesco, now owns the site and has begun redevelopment plans which will see the construction of a new state-of-the-art store for Spring 2012. Glazewing secured a successful partnership with GBM Demolition of Lincolnshire and are currently in the process of removing waste and recyclable materials from the site.
The steel from the buildings will be processed at our West Dereham depot and then shipped to Wisbech Docks for export to a variety of locations across the world.
