Roll On - Roll Off Hire

For those jobs where a skip is not big enough, Glazewing have a wide selection of roll on containers, from 16 yd - 50 yd.


If you have large volumes of waste to dispose of, then we will have a roll on to meet your needs. We also have a range of enclosed, lockable and rear opening roll on containers as well as static and portable compactors available for hire.

Our roll on bins are available for long and short term hire at competitive rates. They are available for all categories of waste - inert, industrial and commercial, including wood, plastic, hazardous, ferrous metal and non-ferrous metal. We can also deliver aggregates and topsoil with your bin.

Our customer list ranges from major corporations through to the domestic market, and includes several authorities, blue chip clients and large civil engineering and construction companies.

Roll-on-off containers are generally a more cost effective option for large volumes of light bulky waste.

16 - 20 cubic yard roll-on-off are only suitable for clean inert material.
25 - 40 cubic yard roll-on-off are only suitable for light builders waste.
50 cubic yard roll-on-off are only suitable for light scrap metal.

In most cases, roll-on-offs for waste will be chargeable on a transport and tonnage basis.

On-road skips - All skips sited on the road, pavement, residents parking bay or any other land owned and maintained by the highways department must have a road license or permit. It is illegal to site any skip on the highways with out a permit.

Permit charges - Most councils will charge a small premium for applying for a road license. In most areas we can apply for the permit on your behalf. Permit applications can take anything up to 7 working days to be processed by the relevant council.
